Instrumental-Physical Theater

Instrumental Physical Theatre is an innovative performance genre where classically trained musicians become full-bodied stage protagonists, mastering contemporary dance as a second language of expression.

Created through groundbreaking productions such as The Four Seasons (A. Vivaldi),  Quartet No. 8 (D. Shostakovich), Death and the Maiden (F. Schubert), and The Raft of the Medusa (A. Vivaldi), this genre redefines the relationship between sound and movement, performer and audience.

We believe this approach offers a powerful new paradigm for performing arts education — one that invites musicians to explore their bodies as communicative instruments and bridges the disciplines of choreography and music at the highest academic level.
